Make the most of your body - Dress for your shape

One thing that we notice regularly at Siopaella, is that some of the lovely customers that come in are unsure about what to wear. Well we are here to fix that!

By dressing for your shape instead of the latest trends, you can eliminate body hang-ups and highlight your best features. After all - we know how gorgeous all our customers are so we want them to feel it too (and who said flattery would get us nowhere!).

The Dreaded Stomach Area

No one wants the post meal food baby or muffin top, it’s just not a good look for anyone.  While the right underwear, mostly spanx, will get you so far, it kinda takes the fun outta fashion.
Below we are providing you with a great alternative. Leather look trousers with a zip detail will draw attention from your tummy area attracting notice to your legs.

This great metallic suede peplum top is dramatic for a great night out effect. The fitted  top part part will allow you to extenuate your shoulders and bust while the peplum will cover all lumps and bumps that you don't want on show.

Don’t want the Bingo wings on display?!

If there's one thing all Irish women hate, it’s having our arms out! It probably has something to do with the weather - it’s always way too cold to have arms on show anyway. But if this is an area that you are particularly concerned about, have no fear, there are some quick and easy solutions.

An easy wear dress with sleeves in a bright colour will leave you feeling more confident about your arms without looking too mother of the bride.  This bright green Chic code dress is youthful and sexy without being overly revealing. Perfect for any sort of event or night out.

Conscious about your height? We have the answer for all you petite girls!

If you are a small or petite frame, like most staff members here at Siopaella (Ella in particular!), then sometimes it can be difficult to find clothes that don’t swamp your frame.

We styled an outfit that elongates your body and gives the illusion of more height, longer legs and a longer upper body. Basically exactly what you need if you are 5’4 or under.

Choose a jean with a skinny leg, turn up the bottoms to show off your ankles. Pair with a pair of wonderfully high heeled shoes. This will draw the eye right down your leg to the bottom of your foot making your legs look miles longer!  For the top a sheer shirt under a waist coat that comes to your mid hips will elongate your upper body and leave you looking great.

Too Busty for your own good!

There is nothing wrong with big boobs or getting them out (sounding a bit like Gok Wan now). However it is hard to draw the line between sexy and appearing a little too promiscuous LOL!

There are nice discrete ways to show your best assets without drawing unwanted attention. Firstly we recommend a good lashing of bronzer on the collar bones, shadowy lines are a girls best friend, takes pounds off any figure.

A wrap dress like this will pull you in on your smallest part, just under your bust line. This gives you those Beyonce curves that everyone is after. The flowing skirt will help balance you out, making you look less top heavy. The sheer panel will show 'classy' cleavage and the cap sleeves will balance out your shoulders.

Straight Up and Down
Magazines always say that hourglass is best, which is fine but plenty of us aren't blessed with that shape #nofair. But if you don’t have it then fake it! Dress in a way which will add definition to your waist and give the impression of plenty of curves.

The below dress has a form fitting skirt which will highlight your bum and legs and hits just above the knee.

The sheer top half will add volume to your bust area and the belt will draw attention to your waist. Making you go in and out in all the right places. You saucy minx ;)

But ladies I know that guides can sometimes be no good and nothing will do but the personal touch, so feel free to call into the store or catch up with the team over Facebook.

Lots of Love
Siopaella xx
